Connect Course Catalyst to Claude

Ask Claude to build and manage your Course Catalyst site: pages, courses, contacts, email, and more.

How it fits together

Two pieces let Claude work on your site. The connector (MCP) gives Claude the tools to read and change your Course Catalyst site. The skill is a short guide that teaches Claude how to use those tools well. You do not need an account to read this page or download the skill. You sign in when you connect.

The connector URL

There is no API key to create or paste. You sign in with your normal account.

Connect

  1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors. Find Course Catalyst in the directory and choose Connect. If you do not see it, choose Add custom connector and paste the URL above.
  2. A Course Catalyst sign-in window opens. Sign in with the email and password you use for your Course Catalyst dashboard. If you have two-factor authentication turned on, you will be asked for your code as usual.
  3. Review the approval screen. It lists the permissions Claude is asking for and the site it will control. Choose Approve.
  4. Back in Claude, ask for something, such as "List my courses".

Claude works on one site: the site of the account you signed in with. It cannot see other creators' sites or customers.

What you can do

  • Build and edit landing pages and their blocks, then publish when you are ready.
  • Create courses, sections, and lessons, and write lesson notes.
  • Create and update contacts, products, coupons, forms, and offers.
  • Write email broadcasts and automated sequences, and enroll contacts in them.
  • Read your transactions, subscriptions, and tracking reports.
  • Change site settings and set up integrations.

Safety

  • Claude cannot permanently delete anything. It can archive items, and anything archived can be restored.
  • Page edits go to a draft. Nothing changes on your live page until you publish.
  • Sending a broadcast to your audience, canceling a send, and canceling a subscription are flagged to Claude as destructive, so it should ask before running them.
  • Every call Claude makes is recorded in an audit log. See the Privacy Policy for what is logged.

Disconnect

  1. In your Course Catalyst dashboard, open Settings, find Connected apps, and choose Disconnect next to Claude. Access stops immediately.
  2. You can also remove the connector in Claude, under Settings, then Connectors.
